Description: | This position is located in Park City, Utah.
Shift:
Part-Time & Full -Time, Year-Round & Seasonal positions
Lunch and dinner shifts.
Weekends, holidays and special events based on business needs
SUMMARY
Primary duty is to assist and support the server.
| Duties: | ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assists in the service and clearing of food as directed by the server.
Responsible for the setting of the dining room and the clearing and resetting of tables.
Delivers water to guests and refills glasses as needed.
Responsible for stocking service stations and busses trays.
Exhibits job and product knowledge sufficient to provide guests with accurate information in all aspects of food, service, and resort information.
Exhibits self confidence to the degree necessary to handle a variety of situations in a positive and professional manner.
Completes cleaning and closing responsibilities as directed by servers and management.
Ensures proper sequence of service for all guests.
Exhibits a positive attitude when speaking about guests, fellow employees and management.

Exhibit job and product knowledge to accurately support and promote all Sundance departments, amenities and programming ventures.

Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.

Be an ambassador of Sundance inside and outside of work.

ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT
Support and participate in environmental programs associated with position: minimizing waste, recycling, energy conservation, purchase and use of sustainable products, education on environmental ethic, support vendors with similar ethic, decrease pollution levels, minimize the use of toxic chemicals, restore wild life habitats.
DRESS CODE
Sundance recognizes the impact that our image has on the guest’s impression of the resort and the perception of our ability to provide professional service to our clientele. In order to best promote a positive, professional image that meets Sundance guest’s expectations, employees are required to dress in a professional, conservative fashion that is appropriate for their area. Please use the following as a minimum standard:
All front of house staff is required to wear nametags at all times while on duty, as well as have current alcohol and food handler certification.
Clothing must be unwrinkled and clean, and in good condition.
Black or Blue “western sh rt” is issued to each employee and must be worn at lunch and dinner during our winter season.
All shirts must be tucked in.
Skirts of any length are prohibited.
Khaki pants are required.
Pants must be tailored. Cargo pants and Corduroy are prohibited.
Black polishable shoes are required.
Tennis shoes are prohibited.
Zoom t-shirts must be in good condition and have appropriate Sundance logos during lunch hours in our summer season.
Clean, black aprons and a black belt are required.
All employees must provide their own wine key, pens and lighter.

| Qualifications: | QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have considerable schedule flexibility.
Must exhibit high personal cleanliness standards.
Prior serving or bussing food service experience in a full service restaurant desired.
TECHNICAL/COMPUTER SKILLS
None.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current Food Handlers Permit
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
