SUMMARY
Leading a service team to create a memorable experience for the guest by exhibiting remarkable personal skills and providing exceptional service in a casual and professional environment.
| Duties: | ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
To ensure proper sequence of service is completed for all guests.
Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of own section.
Responsible for the handling of all monetary transactions and completing a nightly check out.
Exhibits job and product knowledge sufficient to provide guests with accurate information in all aspects of food, service, and resort information.
Exhibits self-confidence to the degree necessary to handle a variety of situations in a positive and professional manner.
Rings in orders and ensures accuracy and quality of orders and food.
Completes cleaning and closing responsibilities as directed by management.
Exhibits a positive attitude when speaking about guests, fellow employees and management.
ALL SUNDANCE REPRESENTATIVES ARE EXPECTED TO:
Embrace and promote all facets of the Sundance Guiding Principles: vision, mission, service guidelines, and values.
Exhibit job and product knowledge to accurately support and promote all Sundance departments, amenities and programming ventures.
Be able to work a flexible schedule, work well under pressure, meet deadlines.
Possess the necessary social skills to work with a broad based constituency and provide excellent service to all internal and external guests.
Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.
Keep information confidential as directed in the confidentiality agreement and furthermore support and comply with all Sundance policies, procedures, and standards.

Be an ambassador of Sundance inside and outside of work.

ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT
Support and participate in environmental programs associated with position: minimizing waste, recycling, energy conservation, purchase and use of sustainable products, education on environmental ethic, support vendors with similar ethic, decrease pollution levels, minimize the use of toxic chemicals, restore wild life habitats.
DRESS CODE
Sundance recognizes the impact that our image has on the guest’s impression of the resort and the perception of our ability to provide professional service to our clientele. In order to best promote a positive, professional image that meets Sundance guest’s expectations, employees are required to dress a professional, conservative fashion that is appropriate for their area. Please use the following as a minimum standard:
All aspects of the Personal Appearance policy (SPL#50) must be in compliance.
Operational managers are required to wear nametags at all times while on duty.
Clothing must be unwrinkled and clean, and in good condition (no rips, tears, or frays regardless of whether accidental or fashionably placed).
Blue jeans are permitted.
Men’s shirts must be tucked in.
Appropriate skirt length is from the knee to the ankle.
A tailored fit is required of all clothing.
Tank tops, halter tops tube tops, and spaghetti straps are prohibited.
Sleeveless shirts are permitted for females.
Bare midriffs are prohibited.
Proper footwear for your department is required.
Dress sandals are permitted for females.
Flip flops are prohibited in all areas.
Tennis shoes are prohibited unless there is a business need (ie: Mtn. Ops.)
If your department allows t-shirts, they must be in good condition and have appropriate Sundance logos.
If your department allows baseball caps, they must be in good condition and have appropriate Sundance logos.

| Qualifications: | QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to a year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience required:
At least six months food service experience in a full service restaurant.
Must be 21 years of age and have a telephone.
Must have considerable schedule flexibility.
Must exhibit high personal cleanliness standards.
Experience desired:
Two to four years food service experience in a full service restaurant.
Experienced in service of wine, liquors, and beer.
Prior experience with Micros, Aloha, or equivalent P.O.S. system.
Prior experience with service banking and basic accounting skills.
TECHNICAL/COMPUTER SKILLS
Proficiency with Micros.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have or obtain a current food handlers permit.
Must have or obtain current alcohol service permit.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
