SUMMARY
To maintain the cleanliness of all public areas and meeting rooms and ensure all guest requests are met in a timely manner. PM Houseperson must have a valid U.S. drivers’ license in good standing as determined by Sundance’s Insurance guidelines.

Duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for checking in and out a Sundance vehicle following Sundance safety guidelines..
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the Cabin and its kitchen by vacuuming, dusting, cleaning the bathrooms,
and emptying trash each evening.
Consistently deliver/fulfill guest requests within fifteen minutes.
Ensure and maintain cleanliness of all public area bathrooms i.e. replenish paper supplies, soap, disinfect counters, sink,
toilets, and remove trash during the shift in all locations: the Wasatch Room, Rehearsal Hall, Creekside, Ski Patrol, Mandan, Screening Room and the restaurants.
Clean sales office by vacuuming, dusting, and emptying trash.
Responsible for vacuuming the Front Desk and Reservations area.
Responsible for cleaning the catering office on Mondays and Thursdays.
Responsible for delivering wood to the cottages during the winter season.
Responsible for cleaning the Art Shack on a daily basis.
Re-touch meeting spaces.
Follow Sundance Housekeeping protocols for cleanliness and safety.
Effectively communicate with front desk, maintenance, landscaping and other departments as needed to facilitate Sundance guest service standards.
Adhere to safety standards.
Must be able to work in a team environment.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Support and participate in environmental programs associated with position: minimizing waste, recycling, energy conservation, purchase and use of sustainable products, education on environmental ethic, support vendors with similar ethic, decrease pollution levels, minimize the use of toxic chemicals, restore wild life habitats.

DRESS CODE
Sundance recognizes the impact that our image has on the guest’s impression of the resort and the perception of our ability to provide professional service to our clientele. In order to best promote a positive, professional image that meets Sundance guest’s expectations, employees are required to dress in a professional, conservative fashion that is appropriate for their area. Please use the following as a minimum standard:

All aspects of the Personal Appearance policy (SPL#50) must be in compliance.
Housekeeping staff are required to wear nametags at all times while on duty.
The Housekeeping Uniforms consists of the following:
Blue jeans or khaki pants (without fancy embroidery )
Sundance issued shirt, sweatshirt, or coat
Clothing must be unwrinkled and clean, and in good condition (no rips, tears, or frays regardless of whether accidental or fashionably placed).
Men’s shirts must be tucked in – no exceptions.
Appropriate skirt/shorts length is from the knee to the ankle.
If an additional layer of clothing is needed for warmth while on duty, it must either be Sundance issued or it must be warn underneath the uniform and not visible (except in the collar area)
Hats may be warn, but must be PRE-APPROVED by manager
Bare midriffs are prohibited.
Flip flops and sport sandals (tevas/chacos,etc) are prohibited in all areas.
Tennis shoes are permitted, but must be in good repair and not too flashy.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have a valid U.S. drivers’ license in good standing as determined by Sundance’s Insurance guidelines.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read in English a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Bilingual in English and Spanish required.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
