SUMMARY
Perform essential duties to create a positive concession experience for all guests.

Duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Warmly greet and engage each guest.
Assist guest in selection process.
Responsible for accurate cashing, including opening and closing accounting duties.
Limited food preparation and stocking products as needed.
Enter orders in point of sale system, collect payment, provide correct change, and obtain signatures as appropriate for payment type.
Interacts with guests and insures that proper sequence of service is followed for all Fast Food guests.
Opening and closing responsibilities include, but not limited to: Shoveling snow, cleaning, vacuuming, emptying trash, stocking shelves, counting cash, and completing other necessary tasks as outlined by dept manager.
Knowledgeable about all aspects of the resort: lodging, dining, mountain recreation, activities, etc.
Will need to ride chair lift to and from work when working at Bearclaw.
Knowledge and compliance of Utah liquor laws.

This position has none.

Support and participate in environmental programs associated with position: minimizing waste, recycling, energy conservation, purchase and use of sustainable products, education on environmental ethic, support vendors with similar ethic, decrease pollution levels, minimize the use of toxic chemicals, restore wild life habitats.


DRESS CODE
Sundance recognizes the impact that our image has on the guest’s impression of the resort and the perception of our ability to provide professional service to our clientele. In order to best promote a positive, professional image that meets Sundance guest’s expectations, employees are required to dress in a professional, conservative fashion that is appropriate for their area. Please use the following as a minimum standard.

All aspects of the Personal Appearance policy (SPL#50) must be in compliance.
All employees are required to wear nametags at all times while on duty.
Clothing must be unwrinkled and clean, and in good condition (no rips, tears, or frays )
Jeans or snow pants are permitted
Sundance logo shirts or Bearclaw shirts are required
Closed toed shoes are required
Sundance logo baseball hats are permitted
Beanies or snow caps are not permitted inside

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
No prior experience or training necessary. Previous customer service and/or food & beverage experience preferred.

TECHNICAL/COMPUTER SKILLS
Point of sale system.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have or obtain a current food handlers permit within 30 days of employment.
Must have or obtain a current alcohol service permit.
Must possess a valid U.S. Drivers’ License in good standing as determined by Sundance’s Insurance Company guidelines.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
