Shift:
Full-time: minimum of 4 days a week, occasional Sundays required 9 AM-4:30 PM
Part-time: minimum of 2 days a week, Saturdays, occasional Sundays 9 AM-4:30 PM
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS
SUMMARY
To teach skiing and/or snowboarding to Sundance guests stimulating an exciting Sundance experience while learning and improving ski/snowboard skills.

Duties: |
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ability to effectively communicate clearly in a pleasant manner.
Love of skiing, snowboarding and Sundance.
Enjoy sharing this love of skiing, snowboarding and Sundance with others.
Pleasant and outgoing personality.
Strong skiing/snowboarding ability-Level 8 minimum.
Exhibit a strong desire to improve personal skills (skiing, snowboarding, teaching & acquiring certifications)
Ensure safety of students.
Strong knowledge of ski/snowboard technique.
Strong knowledge of the resort: ie, lodging, dining, guest services, etc.
Strong communication skills.
Excellent guest service and recovery skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certified in PSIA/ASSI, or working toward certification.
Personal skiing or snowboarding skills of level 8 or better.
Understanding of skiing or snowboarding technique and the methods to teach them.
History of consistency in having a good work ethic, safety awareness and history.
